I ordered through the app. When you get to the store you wait outside for staff to collect your name and they bring your order to you in a wire basket.

Even when they are slammed with people they are so nice :)

Went to Starbucks to grab quick breakfast on my way to work. Placed a mobile order in plenty of time to have it ready when I arrived, which it was. However, the staff blatantly Ignored my inquiries as to whether or not it was ready, even though I could see it sitting there. Cut to 10 minutes later when a third employee came out of the back room. Unfortunately this is one of many experiences like this more recently than not. Constant line, understaffed, and can’t keep up with business. I do not recommend going here if you’re on any sort of schedule!

I love it, great service, friendly staff. Their seasonal drinks are awesome! Frozen Carmel Ribbon Crunch in the summer, hot Creme Brulé coffee in the winter, it is heavenly 😊

Love Starbucks coffee, this location always has friendly staff and not usually too long of a wait. The restrooms however aren't the cleanest.

Shaped weird not enough tables to sit.

since I was shopping and walking down the street I tried to place my order at their door. They told me that they would NOT take my order that it could only be done using the app. When I stated I did not want to download the app they said "oh well" . THEN when I DID download the app to place my order it said this location was not doing app orders, you must use front door service or call in your order. I would not have proceeded except that my wife really wanted coffee and all the other shops were closed. So when I called them to place an order they said that they would not do phone in orders. It could only be done by going to the front door or placing your order are the app. Finally after standing at the front door they took my order (mostly because I told them that you were going to serve us) but they were not very happy or very friendly I will not be visiting this location again

Very weird atmosphere.... employees were not professional or welcoming. They were all super sour and clearly didn’t want to be at work. The location was dirty and dark. Drinks didn’t taste great either . Unfortunate experience

This Starbucks allows a female worker to serve people with a mask not covering full mouth and nose. Despite a sign asking only ONE person per party to enter, many customers ignored it with staff saying nothing as place filled up with too many people for their small space. Really slow service.

We love Starbucks. It was quiet when we arrived. Everything was going great, even the service until it came time getting what we ordered. The manager took our name when we placed our order. We sat at the window while waiting. Pretty quiet. Then we saw her go to the couch area, “her selfProclaimed favorite spot” to eat her breakfast. Which would have been fine if that was her break assuming someone else was making our sandwiches. No one ever called us to the counter. We made eye contact with the other girls. The ones we all have made to make it clear that we are still here waiting for our order. LOL. Then a slew of people came pouring in getting what they ordered. Finally I went up to ask about our order. It had been sitting in a paper bag on their counter the whole time. Grr. Lazy.

We came in 2 minutes before closing (unknowingly) and although we said we'd leave the let us order. Very nice crew. One of the employees was leaving and ran into the door it was hilarious.

Always consistent. The staff here is A+ I have yet to receive a poorly made beverage. But i have heard of other people complaining. The besuty of Starbucks is that if your drink isnt exactly to your liking they will remake it until it is up to par and will usually jump the line. To get you on your way.

The partners are considerate, fun, and hard working. They are customer service oriented and took the time with so many of their customers.

Yes I know it is in a high volume tourist area. And I know that covid really slows down productivity. But this Starbucks is really slow. Only 3 staff working the several times I was there this week where most SB's have 7 workers. And yes as another reviewer mentioned I walked in to order, waited 15 minutes to be served and was out before the people that were standing there before me that had ordered on line.

They make average coffee, however the store actively punishes you for using the mobile app. Several people walking in off the street and got their coffee while I was left almost a half hour for my mobile order pickup.

Fast service & good iced tea. The place could be cleaner & air conditioning needs to be improved . During this summer's heat wave it must have been 80 degrees inside.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO THERE. I have a nut allergy and they gave me the old "We cant guarentee anything" because they are too scared that their spotty cleaning will land me in the hospital and I'll sue them. Worst Starbucks experience ever. DO NOT GO.

Perfect place to have ☕ in lake placid downtown

As of Feb. 1 I was fortunate to assume a new life title, "retired." After living in Lake Placid for 13 years I finally began to frequent our local Starbucks. Staff is very pleasant, patient, and very helpful. Any question I asked, they had the answer. Never been disappointed with any of their suggestions! It has become a weekly hangout and provides an awesome environment for reading, laptops, cell phones, and of course a " Great Cup of Coffee ! "

Nice people with standard Starbucks offerings. On very hot days they need to crank the air conditioning up. This past summer the place was just too hot during the hot weeks. Not comfortable at all.

My pineapple matcha latte was very good but then I found out they filled most of my cup with ice. Felt ripped off.
